If you are interested in timing, we just filled a gap in the NASDAQ from Friday's close to Monday's open.

The silver lining view is that, with the market having filled it and closed without dropping significantly lower, it may be ready to move up.

In any case, I'm impressed that biotechs have been improving their relative performance recently. I think there is a good chance that will continue through the July earnings season. Biotechs should have fewer problems from negative earnings surprises, plus earnings announcements provide opportunities to get positive news out. Biotechs are also less vulnerable to disruption by possible terrorist activity or to slower than expected general economic growth. That, and there is the snapback potential from being heavily oversold.
