fwiw, cyrix technology is reincarnated under the via banner. The offering known as C3 (codenamed samuel) is soldered onto the mobo which sells for about usd70 retail (including cpu).

They run slow, but make great web browsers --- add a case, HD, cdrom drive, kbd, mouse and you have an entire working system well under usd200. (claims to be a gigahertz thing too, but performs like a 500MHz celeron)
