Mike, Not only are the employees disappointed, but the cos. won't have all that over-projection amount to use to pad eps. <g> Of course, the way the money is contributed, using dollar cost averaging, should increase the net amount by a bit. But for some reason it doesn't work like that. It seems that few people contribute when they've been fired or downsized, and many more contribute when they've gotten raises and bonuses. Oddly enough, those factors tend to correlate strongly with the movement of the market. So, as a group, they almost do the anti-dollar cost average of putting in more at highs and less at lows.
