Does the release give the poster's age? My guess from cruising the threads is that some clusters of posts are
by one person with different aliases talking to himself
(the dialogue is usually terrible) and others are among a
group of friends who are teenagers, perhaps members of
a high school investment group. They're fairly easy to spot.

I wonder, though, if any company is going to sue a poster
for pumping their stock and saying falsely complimentary
things about management? We've got our friend who has been
around for years whose favorite line seems to be "I can smell diamonds." or "Up, up and away."

However, given the antics of dot com company execs and the
brokerages, can one really say that the promo on the boards
is any worse? Think of all those brokers who sold their
customers Nortel at 120 plus. Every day another scandal.

Still, it is nice to see a company taking on irresponsible
posters. it would just be nice to see them doing the same
to the hypsters.
