FTC claims they will have a product for me later this year or early next. Will they deliver? I do not know.

Did they quote you a price? My post shows they expect to get the price down to $US1000 per Kw which seems very attractive given that a gas furnace and hot water tank could cost US$3000 in capital costs, and the power savings for a few years would cover the other US$2000 for the US$5000 5 Kw complete unit.

With a little competition, and a few years, we may all be switching over to fuel cells in the home and office,....doesn't say too much for the long term viability of "for profit" electrical generating plants, or the electrical generation income trusts.

Good reference series of articles here for information on solid oxide fuel cells,...the Stockhouse board is very active.
