In this business, "late" is really bad...especially if your design has you in catch-up Mhz mode all the time. Ultimately, it leads to quarters with big losses.

AMD Engineers may be "fine" but they slip and fall a lot.
Then again, maybe what the designers/roadmap give them to work with isn't so inherently good. Can you explain why Intels .13u is a year ahead of AMDs? Why is Hammer a year late? Why won't the early T-breds scale?
