I was stroking along when my reverie was interrupted by a commotion. Two of the boys were splashing around and yelling and the lifeguard was shouting at them. One boy kept telling her that the other boy had done something wrong that deserved punishment. She kept saying that they both needed to cut it out. This went back and forth three or four times and then it was over and I went back to my laps. But my reverie was over for the duration. LOL.
Can't even get away from SI at the pool.

All right, so it isn't three-yeay-olds. It's pre-adolescent boys. Possibly even more dangerous.

Personally, I'm spent.
Amen. What am I doing posting on this thread anyway? They may have it.

I don't know how those who have been so engaged in this from the beginning could have any gas left in their tanks.
Seems like a large tanker truck pulls in daily.

This was posted in the funniest place:

"Moral indignation is jealousy with a halo."
- H. G. Wells (1866-1946)

and it is very ironic in context of the last "war"

sound and fury, signifying nothing much?
