Yes it would be nice to get some sort of capitulation but even if we do, and lets say the market really was to take off here, it would, imo, only delay the inevitable for a later day. So I think its more of the chinese water torture as we continue to grind into lower prices. Let me finish by saying that this next leg down (assuming I'm right) is going to characterized by a whole bunch of stocks trading in the single digits. And if there already, it will be the deep single digits i.e., JDSU, LU. I hope I'm wrong.

"I just wish we would gap down through it and just run down another 200 points and get it over with." There are too many crooks and junk in this market and it takes time to clean the entire house. Be patient for a nice bottom. For now, it seems we will work on a lower high and lower low. The next bull market most likely will be coming off a nice and long long basing, imo. Regards, Mike

Patrick scenario's of the pros unwinding positions is coming true, but I think it will be considered "overdone" by 1445 and then bouncy bouncy to 1505 again I think. Most "pundits" think end of the month is the turn dates and so we can expect some bounces. The trick for me is to keep reminding myself that "it is okay to be late getting on long train". I got to stave off the noise that all the bulls are gonna make.
