Rock_nj - I don't know about today but I've been wondering how MSFT is doing.

Yuo always need both bits to be good today to avoid a collapse:-

1. The current REvs and earnings

adn

2. The forward guidance.

MSFT usually gives very conservative guidance.

As for current I wonder how well business can be if AAPL and DELL and IBM aren't having a great time.

The pattern in this bear market has been for the stock to hold up a little going into earnings and then to tank. I seem to recall all sorts of bullish rumours circulating before earnings as well last time.

I wonder if there is any anticipation beforehand this time?

Best,

L
