If INTC's $5 billion GW is impaired, and as a consequence it is written off, that's close to $1.00 eps per share that hasn't been included in previous reported eps...i.e INTC may already be operating in the red...If true, the INTC chorus of INTC always meets guidance and never reports a loss is a "crock"...in any event, INTC's used up all its accounting wildcards, and consequently even the cosmetic accountants aren't likely to be able to mask the performance erosion any longer that has occurred at INTC over the past 2 years...
