BWAC, i think you and i contacted through the Range Bound and Undervalued stock thread - you and jake. i liked that thread because there was good discussion, no hype (well, not much) and friendly talk. I agree with you about SI, its withering on the vine.. I am proud of what Zthread has been able to maintain. larry

BWAC: Glad to read your post where Tom Veale is around. Wish Linda Kaplan would re-surface. I bet there are a number of British and German companies just going ballistic over some of the insane values that have been created and are available in the USA's techland. They must be salivating. So would a lot of US companies except their currencies (stock price) have also been decimated and therefore can't do the deal. I wonder when Cisco and Microsoft will bite the bullet and just do a number of acquisitions for cash....they too must be salivating...they are just a handful that have the cash.
When you stop and think about the chain of events during the past year, OBL and his merry gang of a__holes, really did do a number on the economy especially in the destruction of value in companies and presented one tempting opportunity for the foreign firms to buy America on the cheap. And that's just what happened. Sad...but opportunistic for some.
