[ market commentary ] Genzyme's revenue warning and small cap bio? You can't squeeze blood out of a stone. Options this Friday. Political issues have largely been ripped out of the gut of pharma, as Bush left FDA without a pilot. Some day, I'm going to figure it out. When RELATIVE valuations favor small cap, expect pharma and big cap to come back, rather than have small cap go to them. Sigh. It's been absolutely embarrassing to be a biotech investor. Nonetheless, the grenades have been going off largely in stocks that many (most?) of us ignore. The game is the same as always, and it's particularly lucrative down here....... stock-picking. Note: I hate Genzyme, always have.
