It is truly much more than an irony. Just as the Israeli have their Kahana factions, in Europe they have their own dreamers of "greater that and greater that". For instance, I am told by friends living in Silesia that a great many of the small businesses and a lot of real estate has been (and is being) acquired by some right wing German interests, with the hope of one day, having a "plebicite". In the meanwhile, if you are a Silesian of Geman descent, you can find a job in all those businesses, but if you are of polish descent, you are unemployed (about 30% unemployment there, so I am told). Similar events are occurring around Gdanz (formerly Danzig) and Kaliningrad (formerly Koenigsburg). That is not funny, and could indeed serve to destabilize Europe.
