Try Cannacord, I heard they are one of the scummiest houses in canada so you should feel right at home. Any broker that actually followed the know your client rules would not let you open an account anywhere anyway.

Francois, perhaps your post is better directed to someone else. I've never shorted a stock in my life.

But, from a behavioral point of view, I've always been interested in observing the technique of the shortsters, especially when they appear in an organized swarm.

From a practical point of view, I understand there is a legitimate need for shorting and that it, itself, based on market fundamenals, can be a very honorable and sensible action. And perhaps some day I might well use shorting as a part of my trading approach.

Perhaps one of the reasons I've stayed away from becoming a shorter is, well, whether you like it or not, shorting has gotten tagged with a bad name. And this likely has something to do with posters like rottencore and largeunitinpants who presently are spreading their venom over on Yahoo's PKTR (a stock I don't own, by the way) thread, and very likely from reading some of the writing of some folks who've participated in the scheming of A@P, Auric Goldfinger, Pluvia and TheMultipleAliasOne over the years.

Who among you would rise to help give shorting a good name?

Again, Francois, I think your post is better directed to someone else.
