JDN, Your dream of a peaceful Palestine area is sweet and pure, but will never happen. Just as Israel is coming to the peace table, the Palestinians step up their bombing campaign to piss them off again. Just how much should we expect the Israelis to take? I don't think they would need the UN to take care of the problem. As I understand it, the Palestinians are living on land that was either given to Israel in 1948, or was won by Israel when they beat back Arab attacks against them, and kept the land they won. If that is the case, the Palestinians have no claim to a homeland within those boundaries. If I am wrong, then the Palestinians should be satisfied with what they have and try to be good neighbors. IMHO, they should be driven out, and disbursed among the other Muslim nations that seem to love them so much, but have not offered them a home. But then, I have been called a radical at times. :^)
