Thank you Michael.

I knew that Kenneth (who didn't provide any links to anything he posted yesterday despite repeated requests) was simplifying the issue. I was born and raised in Seattle, and have been a long time taxpayer. Kenneth considers me greedy and selfish because I want a better accounting of where the MILLIONS of taxpayer dollars go and a desire for decent roads. (go figure?) This issue seems to be at the core of disagreements between otherwise rational individuals who call themselves responsible. The taxpayers aren't going to bow down to unrestrained taxation without accountability any more, and that seems to really rile left.

And thanks for the link. I would like to contact the Evergreen Freedom Foundation as well as the Washington State Dept. of Transportation to get a solid idea of just exactly where our transportation ie. fuel taxes, go and how they are used. You know as well as I do that they are not being used for roads. I will let you know what I find out.

What do you think about the LR decision made by the City Council in Tukwila the other day?

In the mean time I'm going to stop wasting my time with the conspiracy theorists, paranoid, and brain dead. Business is booming and I don't have the time to waste.

Thanks again.

M
