The lug nuts have never been touched and I've never gotten the brakes hot. The service manager used the term defective, not me. I'm guessing it's a "silent" recall where they have had a batch of defective brakes but don't know which vehicles have them. It is odd they don't have the parts on hand but that may be because the repair is a factory recall.

The brakes aren't pulsating, the steering wheel starts twisting violently back and forth. Can't hold it steady or steer the vehicle. It slows down fine, I just can't control the front end until I get off of the brake or slow to under 50. I'm glad it happened on a country road at 55 rather than say going through Nashville in heavy traffic doing 80 and need to stop quickly.
