It is interesting. Following the 1920s bubble, there was a huge backlash, and perhaps even an overreaction against the "banksters". This time around, there appears to be an underreaction. We have an SEC chairman now who is more lax than the guy who resided over the bubble. It makes sense, since the collateral damage of the bubble has been much tamer so far compared to the 1930s.
