I haven't gone there for 6 months or so. It's for entertainment purposes only. Every person off his or her medication seems ro be drawn there. I once counted 32 straight posts without the word "Gold" mentioned once. Speaking of gold, there it goes..... CD

I see GPM as a long running joke to see how far a person can take the thread "off-topic." The more "off-topic" the funnier the joke is... apparently. FWIW, EC<:-} is a terrific FICTION writer - and seems to fit in well with the conspiracy theories surrounding gold. He really should do a column for a magazine. My views, not directed towards Frank and those named below except in a general way to use their comments as focus. But the above comment by Frank may have in it more truth than appears at the surface since Silicon Investor has us all as paying members with one reason that has included inside of it a way to talk to others with similiar interests and from that a felling of friendship and community, but at the top for being here is to make money from metal investments during the trading of shares in companies. The monitor of gold's price is always attached to this task, and always a part even if not mentioned during analysis of companies. So yes Frank is correct that "[survival of] GPM thread - who cares, you got this one..." in that the buy hold sell is determined on this thread and if we can not obtain the gold price monitor news on the GPM thread, then we obtain it elsewhere. Find and dandy, but i would perfer that those who complain about the GPM thread Walk their Talk and do something about it. Its not basketball here with that Michael Jordan "Be like Mike." but "Be like Russ." and when a situation needs correction, take action a.k.a. this thread.
