Not really, GDP growth was ~5% in the 1st quarter. The recession is probably over (if it isn't a double dip), it's just that nobody told the stock market.

I thought the recession started about six months earlier than these cats seem to think. Someday we should put all the economists in an arena and make them fight it out.
