Andrew: Once there was a movie which had the phrase, its Tuesday, this must be Belgium - a spoof on tours.

Well, this is Thurs so it must be Triple Witching.

Briefingcom specializes in negatives for Qualcomm each quarter. Today is the usual.

But for absurdities, the Nokia stuff takes the cake.

Nokia has zero sales of CDMA in China. It announces it will be number one. Qualcomm tanks, Nokia rises.

Would be funny if it were not so pitiful.

Nokia has zero chance of producing handsets in China unless it uses Q chips inside - that is the agreement with MII.

But Wall Street loves Nokia. A "Golden Boy" case.

While announcing its goal of number one in CDMA in the world there are zero CDMA data capable handsets anywhere in the world. Who notices? No one on Wall Street. And Briefing com least of all.

Let's see what happens next week, next month, next quarter.

Best.
