I'm not saying that Dell won't sell ink cartridges through the web site. However, I believe they'll also have to sell through the retail channels. There are still those would don't like to order through the web, that's why Dell still has a sales force. All my Dell computer purchases were made over the phone with a sales representative.

In any event, time will tell how this plays out. By the way, if Dell decides to design and manufacture their own printers, they are going to have to build up a design team. Printers are not as simple as they appear to be. Maintaining a design team is not a low cost proposition.
