It's just showing how extravagant is the market reaction to an INTC drop of 5% in sales or AMD drop of 200M in sales.

It makes sense to compare the PE or even PS. It makes sense to compare the percentage drop or revenue or earnings or stock price of both company. What is the point of such useless comparison like you are doing ? Will you continue continue to use the exact same indicator when both Intel and AMD goes up ?

Don't you find it dishonest to use indicator that just suit your need at a given point in time ?
