You are exactly correct. The deal appears to be a less appealing deal right now cause we do not know at what prices these warrants will be priced by the market. I initially thought $2-$4.. but now think that it could really be as much $4-$7. Again, these warrants will be so much leveraged... 5 years option on PAA at $12..wow! that people will rush to buy them. Still digesting and evaluating. Could be that BAY stock is a great bargain now after this possible overaction.
