I am not sure how one would determine how prevalent such practices were over time. I am merely comparing to decades in my lifetime, and the fact that cases of middle class white girls killing their babies, going on as if nothing had happened, and being brought to trial, have swelled in the last 5 or 10 years, much like indiscriminate, mass school shootings by angry white boys. Perhaps we are merely finding out about more cases of girls doing this, and the incidence has not increased. I doubt it.......
