It's nice to have an iconoclast in the crowd :) but without casting dispersions I think it best that most pc users adopt a safety first approach. In the last couple of months I have had personal experience with many who have suffered the Klez virus. They did not find it fun or challenging....it caused much anxiety and grief. To each his own, but I would not encourage the average pc user to not have an AV program up and running. We live in wacky times.
