"Bottom Sighting 06/21/02 10:18 AM EDT Here's something to factor in: Every day I get an option report detailing a list of stocks whose options are highly priced -- that is, they are exhibiting a high level of implied volatility. This morning the list is the biggest I can recall in many months. To me this means premiums are expanding in anticipation of a market bottom. This is added evidence to the projected bottom for Monday or Tuesday or maybe this morning. Probably safer to wait for Monday but this morning could be the bottom.
