It's a joke. You mention ridiculously slight interactions with even ridiculously slightly 'notorious' public personae (and some really good ones, if there's something a little ludicrous about the mention; and no one can trump CR. For which one-upmanship reason, his nicely qualified as 'funny.') You foreigners don't know about these first world games, of course, so must be forgiven. I sat in the same row at Pilobolus (a dance troupe) with Woody Allen and Soon-Yi (sp?) a few years ago and they never spoke and if ever anyone has looked more depressed that he, i,m sure he didn't show up at a theater.
