ok, thanks. I don't need it as my friend won't be networking. She is using a P 1 machine with 64mb ram hehe. I look at it and all I can think is "door stop" but it gets her email for her, albeit with a few crashes. She wants "the best" though, so I'll get her a basic XP machine from Dell. Apparently 256 mb ram is mandatory for XP, however. I am a little irritated with Dell that a W2000 machine costs so much more than XP. Got to figure XP costs them more. Thought about getting the XP machine and then installing W2000 on it but I don't want to work that hard and she'll probably be okay with XP provided her HP laser printer will run on it.
