The market is so low now the risk out weigh the benefits for shorting, IMOH. Since everyone is in disbelief of the Nasdaq level. Even my broker was shaking his head today.

I would prefer shorting semis or software. Those companies have low/negative growth and plenty of competition.

Ebay is basically an excellent and growing way to sell merchandise. They have the critical mass which is going to be hard to compete against. I believe Ebay has the ability to show you the money when it comes to justifying its valuation.

Of course, that's not to say it won't drop in a broad market downturn. I just don't expect it to drop as the average overvalued tech stock might.
