Contrast the alleged paranoia of Hollywood with, say, people who home-school their kids through grade 12 so they won't be corrupted to "worldly influences" ... or try to prevent needy women from receiving birth-control pills ... or openly call for America to move from a democracy to a theocracy ... I'll gladly live with the "sins of the left" any day of the week compared to the alternatives on the right. As I've said before, when Hollywood spouts off, nobody's hurt. Just fodder for Rush Limbo's right-wing rage radio program. But when corporate crooks and their Republican cronies do their thing ... or when right-wing extremists take over local health boards ... real harm can be done to real people. Yet another reason why I changed my party registration from Republican to Democrat four years ago.
