The rule as I understand it is that the entire ball must be over the line for play to be ruled out of bounds. The replay showed the ball squarely on the line when it was played onto Morientes' head.

As far as I could see it was a perfectly legitimate game-winning goal.

I hope the Spaniards take it better than the Italians did.

Lousy officiating, yes: the line judges were horrendous all day. Conspiracy, no.

I hope Korea can keep it up... they have played a lot of minutes in their last two games. If they hold up they have a strong chance against Germany, though I must say that neither side has looked terribly creative, and I wouldn't pick it as a terribly exciting game.

My sentiments lie with Brazil, and I want them to win, but wouldn't a Senegal-Korea final be amazing?
