J Kenyon...do you believe in animal sacrifice ? hinduunity.org This is what happened 1000's of times over and over in the great Temple of Jerusalem and other Temples of God's "chosen people " ....animal sacrifice to Jehova for 1000's of years , for blessings and appeasement. (It also is part of daily life still , in the Muslim world today ) Is it the belief that the blood of Jesus washes away your sin ? One lives with a sense of the need for constant atonement , because of some dreamed-up estrangement far back in some imaginary Garden of Eden and the sullen view of all men being fallen and corrupt ? Shall we drink from the cup and imagine it is the blood of Christ that spills like the slaughtered lamb and rinses away all these ancient phantasms and self-fulfilling prophesy's of sin and evil and doom taught in an Old & New Testement ? Old stories of long dead men's dreams in primitive times seeing visions that upheld not truth , but the superiority of their tribe and God and a covenant that is so beset with wild superstitions , wive's tales , and intractable fanatical laws they swore were from "God"...and some "occasional wisdom". (Solomon= "All is Vanity") It was one great Greek philosopher that once said : " the entire earth is one country , all men are brothers, and i am a citizen of this country " This was some 500 years before the "Native Son" Jesus came along , to tell his tribe all men are brothers . Was it God's law though that told men to sacrifice animals for so long upon all those Temple altars of the tribe of Israel ? Or something that they just dreamed up , like the stoning to death of those that transgressed all the other wonderful things they dreamed up out of fear and loathing and imposed upon themselves ? Oh, and then there is "Heaven & Eternal Life" ....and this is just for Christians ...or Jews ...or the chosen elect followers of Mohammed ? Absolute nonsense and tribal superstition and fanatical blind religious propaganda. Moses recieves the word of God, then returns down the mountain and orders the deaths and rape of 1000's of men and women .....Mohammed has pretty visions of an "All Merciful God" up on his mountain , but returns to order the murder and deaths of 1000's and make war and terrorism upon the "Unbelievers". And even Jesus orders his followers to bring men from another tribe before him and slay them , the brothers to that "dog-woman" of Canaan who approached him once to ask him to heal her daughter. * Last monday , the Stock-Market shallowly celebrated the positive outlook and guidance given by McDonald's corp...and the Dow rose triple digits . siliconinvestor.com ---->But not all the world celebrates the "happy-meal" good fortunes and outlook for Ronald McDonald's and their mass slaughter houses . regards, mars
