I would think most of sales revenue is collectable going forward... If corp credit is in question lu should have them on a tight string or money up front. Most corporation run the credit in this manner.... Airlines for fuel is a good example.. many of them pay up front.

I calculated Lucent's book value, excluding various intangibles, other assets, and long term assets of discontinued operations at: 2.9986/share

Almost all of it. The majority of LU sales are to cash rich telecoms like Verizon, SBC and BellSouth as well as European Deutsche Telecom, France Telecom. Lucent's main business is with the big cash rich carriers.
