i agree with your percentage bet... but what i do not get is that still everyone is overlooking the turks.

still last night i overheard someone saying "ya, i can't wait for brazil-senegal" "who is senegal playing?" "i'm not sure"

so far, they have lost 1 game... and it was tight against brazil. Some of these boys won the uefa cup a few years ago. This is the first round that i will be now picking against the turks... but i think they have been the most overlooked and ignored team at this wc. They stuck to their game and have arrived at the semis. Koreans are shocking the world... but the turks have just sort of arrived. very odd.

i actually do not mind the koreans chances against germany. this is not the same caliber team for the germans that should have lost to the koreans in wc-94 (crazy game)... and i think that they (germany) will be in their box for a large portion of the game. korea in the final... nope i would not have picked that one.

Tough break for the spaniards... but again, it happens. hopefully their fans will rejoice in their success rather than harp on the last result.

>I'll be interested to hear your opinion on the disallowed Spanish goal....

It appears the linesman blew it....he just made a bad call, it happens in every game and all refs do it...

Spain was looking to go home before the game started...they came out giving way too much respect to the Koreans by going with 4-5-1 leaving Morientes out there as the lone gunman. I hate it when teams play conservatively, then again that is the reason I always liked Brazil, attacking even with 10 men<g>

You got to give it to the Koreans, they never quit, relentless pressure, surprisingly confident and solid at the back allowing no mistakes, and talk about deadly in PKs to boot!

I feel for Spain...but they deserved to go home, they came out thinking not to lose first instead of to WIN.

If Koreans somehow still have enough gas in the tank can definitely beat the overrated Germans, IMHO of course.
