Hi DJ, I read ... xave.de ... once more. I think the Germans, Chinese, Japanese, Jewish, Koreans, etc, and so on, and so forth are all quite similar in their savings habit. I believe I once read an article, I think in some serious journal, suggesting that Japan ought to spend, and Korea out to rev-up consumption debt. As most good things, there is a balance, and a tipping point. Locating the tipping point is only possible by experimentation, and the point often moves, as a function of what else is happening, everywhere else. I have good news. The experiment may soon result in an anwser, and we will soon know where that tipping point is. On another matter, I will do an uncustomary act today. I will go to the office to work on some presentation with my partner for a Business Week CEO conference next week, and than go with wife to some shoot-them-up-bang-bang movie. I normally do not go to office or town on weekends. I have downloaded several articles into my Compaq-HP iPaq palmtop, just in case there is dead time between work and movie. I will post them because they are fun. I must set up a personal website soon. Chugs, Jay
