Thanks for "Strange Invaders"

A must for me on its next showing, and I'm surprised I never heard of it. I love those 1950s movies. "The Thing" from 1951 is the all-time best-ever film in the genre of alien invaders. The original "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" is not far behind. They do all sorts of deep analysis now on the symbolism of these movies, as in claiming they were really intended as political statements. I'm glad I'm too dumb to get that. I just enjoy them and take them at face value, figuring that even if they weren't allowed to say it, there is no question but that "this film is based on a real incident, although some events and characters have been changed for dramatic purposes."

Some day the truth (or, as X would say, "Truth") will come out ... and I'm patient, if nothing else.
