Improvements of earnings over the last 4 or 5 quarters is still not much of anything to take to the bank. There are fewer warnings because so many companies have guided the earnings expectations down to a point that they can make the low numbers. Not much here to get excited about unless improvements from zero or negative numbers are important to you.
