One of the leaders of the smart growth agenda is Al Gore. Smart Growth is ALL about control. The left wants to control where we live (Smart Growth), how we live (Smart Growth), whether we can drive a car (Smart Growth), which car we can drive (Smart Growth, SUV hatred, MPG mandates), how much we earn (No stock options, Nader wage limits, corporate CEO pay limits), which schools our children go to (fight against vouchers, charters schools), where we smoke (ban smoking in California bars, government buildings, planes), what we say (political correctness), where it's said (Political correctness), and how our money should be spent (Taxes on gas, cigarettes, alcohol, expensive boats, and other social engineering concepts). The Democrat party should be renamed "The Control Party".
