Kap, in all seriousness, it is the theory you alluded to, two posts back. The theory attempts to explain or rather describe the phenomenon that the change in the real rate of interest effects different durations differently and differently from what one would believe to be a mathematically explainable model. Reliance on it has been blamed for the downfall of Long Term Capital that crashed recently and is believed by me to be heavily relied on by our good buddies at fannie mae.
