Duke: Yes and so do I but why he couldn't see that the dotcom blow up and the oil tax were going to do enough damage? Why did he insist on saving us from non-existent inflation with draconian rate hikes? The one salutary effect of same was his huge about face and precipitous lowering of interest rates which benefited the working consumer but the damage to the retired or soon to retire bozo such as moi had been done and maybe irreversibly so if the country remains in this anti-investment funk.JFD
