These charts show a major fundamental difference in approach.

Buffet's idea of long-term is a couple of decades and he's willing to sit on something for a long time so long as the cash flows are moving in the right direction.

Most tech babies' definition is something between four and seven years. (Not coindicentally, right between the time their options fully vest, and the time they expire.)

There are a lot of people out there who I suspect will be VERY disappointed when they find out how long the "long term" really can be. In many sectors and for many people, it will turn out to be "too long."

Although I think Intel will rise again it's rather silly for an Intel holder to diss Buffett. Essentially he's running a mutual fund and Intel is one of the greatest growth companies in history and he's still beat it.
