You're just a plain nutbag. The purpose of the space program in the 60's was military, as was the aviation program in the early 20th Century. The success of these programs is indisputable, with the military achievements being a large part. The Glomar Explorer would have been a waste of taxpayer money without a military application.

The nation will defend itself despite your insane opinions...
