Elmer, Re: "Sure it was Pete. That's why AMD slowed them down so they could embarrass themselves. Brilliant! Tell your perspective customers you have a process problem so you can gain their confidence. Brilliant!!!"

The part I liked the most was when he accused you of wishful thinking. LOL!

The AMDroids seem convinced that AMD is sandbagging. They think that AMD will clock it at 800MHz to "throw Intel off", and that Intel would just "fall for it". Just what kind of "chumps" do they take Intel management for? Do they think that the idea of AMD sandbagging would never cross the minds of any of Intel management? That Intel would all of a sudden stop all their efforts due to the notion of Hammer being uncompetitive? As you say, the concept is simply "brilliant"! And meanwhile, those already on board with Hammer are scratching their heads and wondering what to make of the hype vs reality, while those other customers who were having second thoughts are even more likely to "wait and see" before making a commitment.
