Lots of consultancies offices still open in here. Heritage of the guys who came here and told those Asians to erect buildings like crazy. Hope the lesson has been learnt: It is not enough to pile up shining building by the water line to make an economy. When you mention countries that has not to pay money for big fat cat bureaucrats to concoct conflicts to justify giant "defence" budgets and give spurious sense of being a great world power. It is becoming clear that places, you don't even hear about: Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic are the countries whose citizens will quietly live a life without the "glory" of a presence world wide presence. You don't need vast territories. You don't need strong army. You don't need natural resources. You just live quiet and comfortable.
