Do you really believe INTC will be anywhere near the $6.5 billion midpoint of their already once downward revised q2 estimate???

You are either ignorant of the facts or you are purposely miss-stating the facts in order to set up a phony outcome.

Intel never said that 6.5 Billion was the midpoint of their expected revenue.
On the contrary, Intel explicitly stated that their revised estimates for Q2 2002 revenue areas follows:

"Intel expects second-quarter revenue to be between $6.2 billion and $6.5 billion, "

The midpoint is $6.35 Billion, niceguy767.

When do you think AMD's revenue for an entire year will reach $6.35 billion?

but INTC has no excuse for its rapidly increasing net PPe, its rapidly declining revenues

Intel has invested in the future - that's why their PPE has increased. And as for having no excuse for declining revenues, I suppose AMD has no excuse for their massive decline in revenues either. Right, Mr. Niceguy767?
