And the reason none of this is off topic is that when bad companies are allowed to be pumped good companies like Intel suffer.

When people like merryl who have been in the business long enoght to sort of know are allowed to lie, how do you know they are not lying about Intel?

People have a right not to be defrauded, and disclosures which mislead are not disclosures.

Agreed.

However, if you ever read an S-3 of a corporation going public, sometimes the IPO was a "means" for early investors and insiders as a way out.
