Your point was with Vitas and I hate to but in, buts its your assumptions that I have a problem with. Here are a few examples of why I believe you're wrong. Check out the dates of the posts.

My analysis is totally based of linear charts and my record is not that bad. So I don't know how wise it is to be critical of someone else's work when you don't know the basis of it. Just my opinion.

comparison of COMP linear versus semi-log trendlines:

there are many, many more instances where the linear trendlines served as exact turning points, within a few points, than the semi-log trendlines ever did

that being said, Friday's close ALSO puts us below the semi-log 8/27/87 through 2/13/92 trendline, as well as the linear 10/10/89 through 10/15/93 trendline, an interesting combination
