There Seems To Be A Growing Feeling Among That Part Of The Financial Services Industry that a market clearing event would be better than this death by 1,000 cuts we have been experiencing. Not to mention the fact that with the dollar in free fall any positive impact on the market from increased liquidity will be more than offset by increased repatriation by foreign investors. The dip on Monday may be tempered a bit because many of the put options expired in the money and holders who were put the stock will be buying to cover their short position.
