G8 LEADERS SNEAK INTO REMOTE MEETING: PROTESTORS DENIED ENTRY INTO CANADA, SECURITY COST? $300 Million.

D. Austin,

This newest meeting of the G8 VIPs shows up how out of touch these so-called "leaders" are with the people.

An alternative group, the G6B, Group of Six Billion, has been excluded from access to Canada for the duration of diabolical, secret decision making, behind a wall of severe security.

News of this meeting appears to be being actively suppressed by the corporate media. True to form, failing to cover what isn't in their corporate interests.

Many delegates to the left-leaning alternative summit, the group of six billion (G6B), have been turned away at the border posts, and some Canadian activists and journalists have been denied accreditation for the G8 summit, effectively barring them from the proceedings.

The goals of G6B seem imminently reasonable:

"It's a completely nonviolent event," Watson said. "People are not anti-globalization, but they are against the current model. They want to emphasize sustainable communities, social justice and the rights of indigenous people, not making it easier and easier for corporations to increase their profits."

Ironic that these so-called leaders are spending $300 Million on their own security this week. While they will probably extend about $500 Million to help the indigent of all of Africa this year. Something desperately out of whack with this math, don't you think?

Spend our way into bankruptcy?

I am far from bankruptcy. I just bought a recreation cabin on one of the most pristine pieces of water in the USofA. I own, yes, own my home. I own, yes own, my autos. I don't have a stick of debt. If I can do this, anyone can do it. I don't have fancy degrees. I work like a dog.

I deserve everything America, land of private property rights, has to offer.

I don't feel one bit sorry for the wannabe's. Not one bit.

Guess it's in the genes?
